How old may I make my character? We will leave this up to the players in the community. However, if every character starts to get a bit ridiculous with the ages – we will set an age limit. In other words, look at the current characters in game before making your decision. We don’t want every character in game to have been around to throw rocks at Jesus.

I would like the use the name ‘Insert here’ but it is already in use. Can more than one character share a name? No, we would prefer that you do not use a first name already taken by another player. Not only does this prevent confusion, it comes off more respectful for all the players involved. Family names are different, as characters that are related will obviously share them.

How do the character journals work? It depends whether or not they are in the Faerie Realm. If they are in the Faerie Realm, the journals will need to act as a personal, paper-based or vellum-based journal which is private to only the writer or those they wish to physically show it to. If they are in the mortal realm, it can be either physical journal entries - or it could be entries made online for a blogging site. Please make a note of which form you are implementing at the time of posting. Examples: This is My Subject [Journal]// This is my subject [online] Furthermore, those entries marked as being in a paper/velum journal will not be available to comment to through replies. They should act as a physical journal or diary. Therefore, we ask that all those posting such should disable the comments for each journal entry made within the Faerie Realm. Also, please note - If your character is in the Faerie Realm, they should not be posting in the Random Comm, nor should they be in the Introduction Comm until such time as they enter the mortal realm and get access to the internet!(And learn how to use it, if they're new to it.)

I am having an OOC dispute with another player, what do I do? If you feel that you are in a situation that you can’t handle – please contact the mods via drop box. We would rather handle the situation for you than have OOC issues surface in game.

Why was my application rejected? Chances are your character’s background was either not detailed enough or contradicted our lore. It’s nothing personal and we will specify what those issues are upon rejection. Don’t get discouraged, we would love to have those players iron out details and reapply.

Can more than one character share a PB? Unless those characters are twins and both parties have agreed upon it – no.

Why are you so anal about capitalization? It’s nothing personal; the mods are just old and knit-picky. Our old minds have a hard time grasping what is going on without proper sentence structure. It makes us want to pick up our walkers and shake them at you young folks.

What is the structure for posting threads/AIM Scenes? It is as follows: Who: [Who is in the scene] What: [General subject of scene] When: [Date/Time this is happening] Where: [Where the scene takes place] Rating: [Rating] Warnings: [Content Warnings] Status: [Is it open or closed, ongoing or complete?]

I need to go on a hiatus, what should I do? If you know you are going to be gone for an extended period of time – contact the mods. We will make a note of it to assure that you aren’t accidentally cut due to inactivity.

I have an awesome idea for a line! However, I worry that it might be game altering/impact several individuals at once. What should I do? Please run all game impacting plots/ideas by the mods. We must make sure that said plot does not impact other players in a way that they dislike/feel uncomfortable about. Feel free to plot away, though please be considerate of others that will be involved! No one wants to login and find their character beaten and tossed in a ditch.

Where did you guys get all your lore ideas from? We've pulled from such unique and unknown sources as the following: The Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age, Tolkien's works, The Merry Gentry series, as well as our own imaginations. With a small dash of actual folklore thrown in, just for the hell of it.
